Tibet: A Different World – Part 1

There are not many places in the world where i lost sense of time and place. But here i had it. And, no, it wasn’t the high altitude 🙂 The impressions of an area within a country so large, so vast, so big, so dry, so remote are beyond words. No word can describe my experiences during this huge trip. Really. From the car rides (at 5,000m +) over the winding roads to the hikes in and around the mountains. (also at 5,000m+). The things you see and experience make such a deep impression. And the people…. man oh man.. Such a respect for these people. How on earth can you live in places like that ? But they can. They have to.
