Panama. Famous for the Panama Canal but also for its financial businesses. Panama City is a financial center and together with the Panama Canal activities (shipping, ports, etc.) it is the money maker of Panama. And it shows. When you walk over the boulevard in Panama City and see the high rise buildings along the coastline, you think you are in Miami or something. 🙂 

Tourism is the second largest money maker for the country. The Panama Canal brought tons of hotel rooms and economical activities.
