Dry is an understatement in this country. Namibia, on the West Coast of Africa, this country is 1,5x the size of France and only have 2+ million inhabitants. The rest is…. sand. 🙂 And rock, a few trees, but most of it is sand. 

For landscape shooters, like me, Namibia is a heaven. No people running around in your photos 🙂 And those sand dunes. And that dirt dry land. And that spectacular canyon scenery and… and…. and so much more. I can advice to make a travel plan when traveling throughout Namibia, because,  despite the tons of sand, there is so much to see and experience. 🙂 And, maybe, because of that sand.
