The title of this post is a mouth full 🙂 It’s somewhere in Switzerland for sure 🙂 So where exactly ? The Bisses, as they are called, are in the Canton of Valais. First, what are Bisses ? Bisses are irrigation channels. In the old days they where used to get water to the mountainous areas. Some of these Bisses are still in use. On this website valais.ch you can see a map with all the Bisses, and thus its trails.

Then there is the area of Les Diablerets with its fantastic hiking trail. Now, i’ve done only one (to Cabane de Prarochet) but there are many more.
