In 2016 i went to Cinque Terre and it was great. And busy. Very busy. It was so busy that i decided to leave and come back another time. And this time, 2021 – Covid, it was not that busy at all. So a great time to explore the hiking trails throughout the wineries up on the mountains, the villages and the sea.
Since I live in Switzerland, Italy is our neighbor. Hop in the train and off to Milan, Florence and from there to La Spezia. From La Spezia you can take the train (5 min) to the first town of Cinque Terre, called Rio Maggiore. Though, i decided to stay in the second town, Manarola.
More to come
